Your customer may dream of running their organization on a single piece of software, but we know that will never happen. It is more likely they will have multiple packages in place to perform the same or complementary tasks. The ability to quickly integrate your product into an existing software milieu is critical to your success.

In fact, no product or service today, whether delivered in shrinkwrap or via SaaS, can be successful in isolation. Ease of integration with existing software and systems is a key driver to product adoption. This has been true of many of the products and services we have built. For example, iTango's online benefits enrollment service was an uninteresting product offering before we engineered the ability to integrate with insurance companies and payroll services.

Our current relationship with Pervasive gives us a great deal of leverage in this regard. Pervasive is a leading player in SaaS integration: As an example of their leadership, Pervasive's technology seamlessly connects salesforce.com's online application to various back-end systems. Combining our Data Integrator-based integration practice with our product design and development practice has enabled us to leverage effectively the synergy between the two areas for our clients.
