ResearchBullets Software provides information management solutions that are used by legal researchers, professors, academic researchers, information professionals, political campaign research and communications offices.

Situation
ResearchBullets Software launched ResearchBullets to support knowledge workers involved in the 2004 political campaign. After the campaign ended, individuals who had worked with the tool wanted to take it with them to capture and manage information in ongoing work in other areas. This drove a version 2.0 that added a range of more generic functionality enabling the product to respond to a wide variety of user scenarios.
Challenge
ResearchBullets Software responded to demands for tools to support political campaign strategists during 2004. Working under tight time frames, and under tight budget constraints imposed by the needs of the campaign, EC Wise collaborated on the design and built the product. It was so well received that when the campaign ended there was significant demand for a general purpose version of the product that legal and academic researchers and other information professionals could use in their ongoing work.
Resolution
EC Wise helped ResearchBullets design a general market software product at a price that a small startup could afford. As a result, ResearchBullets Software was able to successfully launch in early 2005. EC Wise and ResearchBullets Software have established an ongoing collaboration to continue enhancing the product to support knowledge workers in additional subject areas, and to offer customization services that will enable effective response to client specific requirements.
